Masterpieces of the Mind was created for people to share their experiences with Mental Health and how they perceive themselves. Through these interviews, we get to know people on a deeper level, and those that are suffering silently can view these stories and connect. For those willing to speak, it’s an opportunity to embrace their journey.
Living with multiple medical conditions, I can understand that trying to survive on this earth can be a very lonely journey. We may isolate the ones we love, and the mask we wear to cover up how we truly feel becomes us. The idea of speaking out or seeking help becomes a distant void.
I envision Masterpieces of the Mind as a means of allowing people from all walks of life the opportunity to discover their inner warrior. There is gratification in knowing you can help somebody you have never met, whilst helping yourself. We all suffer from private battles unbeknown to others, so we must remember to be kind to each other and kind to ourselves.
These shared experiences are real, raw and personal.
